Chaos

I like the feeling of chaos that I get.
Too many cigarettes on my breath.
We all get dizzy when we close our eyes...

Dancing, overheating, lying on the floor,
Unexpected; missed friends, walk through the door.
The boys were singing along to their favorite record, falling in love with the whole room.
Has anyone else ever felt this way?
I don't know if I will ever be the same.
Do you ever run around a room, and the walls keep spinning?
Record stop.
Flip to the B Side.
Has anyone else ever felt this way?
I don't know if I will ever be the same.

Cut My Hair
02:51

I woke up to see my face, not wide awake, seems so misplaced.
You were gone only the taste of last night's exchange on my mouth.
We're no good but I truly tried to be, but that got the best of me I wish I hadn't held it dear.
And that was when I cut my hair, the weight's not gone, no it's still there. It lingers on my shoulders.
I realize now you never cared.
You were so very kind to me, and you're so pretty I wish I would have steered clear.
We're no good but I truly tried to be. That got the best of me.
I wish I hadn't held it dear.

Lullaby No. 1
03:59
|
|||
I can't sleep.
Sleep has not made time for me.
Mr. Sandman, give me a dream... or two or three....
Let me sleep, so I can dream.
Olive is throwing a party.
I hope that she invited me.
I want her to feel lovely.
Olive is throwing a party.
Maybe one day, well it may be an eternity, but she will say she loves me.
I want her to throw me a party.

I hear those words every time I close my eyes.
I toss and turn, sleep is not a friend of mine.
I miss your face. Think of you and only cry.
I can't pretend that the fault wasn't mine.
Thank you Mr. Barteneder.
Thank you, thank you, sir.
I could've handled it better.
Thank you, thank you, sir.
The sound of the train headed over the tracks.
I winced in pain as the freight heads towards us.
I see you as my life flashes before my eyes.
It was all a dream, sleep came to me in the Metra tonight.

Mr. B Pt. 2

I took for granted how you fell asleep, in my sheets.
You and I fit together so comfortably.
And old love felt new again, as summer came to an end so did we.
~oooo~
It's funny how I took for granted how you fell asleep in my bed, we were so comfortable, weren't we?
And old love felt new again as summer came to an end, we both went our separate ways, baby.
